Adam passed away Friday morning at his residence in Waxahachie after a brave battle with cancer. Adam was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Reece A and Jo (Terrell) West. Adam graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1982 and Oklahoma U. in 1986. He and his wife Susanna eloped to Hawaii and were married February 2, 2000. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple February 2005.
He attended the May 92' Choices Seminar, was temporarily employed there, and then volunteered until March 2008. He was employed as a Senior Financial Analyst with EDS of Plano at the time of his passing. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Waxahachie where he was a dedicated server of youth as a Seminary Teacher, Institute Teacher and Young Mens President.
Adam was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He was awarded the longest tenured Big Brother relationship in the Dallas Metroplex. His passions were his Church, family, friends, skiing, and scuba diving. He was also a Black Belt in Martial Arts. Adam was a noble spirit and an honest seeker of truth. He demonstrated his love of God and his charitable Spirit by acts of kindness and selfless giving. He was also a well seasoned prankster and he loved teasing his friends and family.

Adam is survived by his wife and three daughters; Susanna, Olivia, Savannah, and Madeline all of Waxahachie. His father Reece West, his brother Kirk West, and his sister Kim Dinsdale. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Jo this past May 2008.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held, 5:00PM, Wednesday evening September 3, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.

Interment is scheduled for Saturday September 6, 2008 at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah.
