Jerry Lee Farmer, 55, passed away at Baylor Hospital Dallas on Saturday, October 19, 2019, from complications to injuries received in an automobile accident on December 13, 2005. He was born in Waxahachie on October 8, 1964 to Robert Wayne Farmer and Linda June (Crow) Farmer.
He is survived by his sweetheart, Rebekah Maddox; his children, Jay (Destinee) Farmer, Chet Farmer, Marcus Bunch (Kimmi), Monica Milford (Adam). Grandchildren, Brooklyn Farmer, Lylah Bunch, Mackenzie Bunch, Roland Milford and Waylon Milford. Mother, Linda Farmer. Sister, Sherri Cunningham (Robbie). Nephew, Bruce Cunningham. Grandmother, Lorene Farmer. Also, many extended family members including aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Farmer in 2018.
Jerry was a lifelong musician having played lead guitar in several local bands since his early teens. He maintained close relationships with the many musicians he met along the way.
A visitation for family and friends is planned for Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from Twelve to Two o’clock at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 West Hwy. 287 Business, Waxahachie, Texas 75165. Graveside services are immediately following at Mt. Peak Cemetery, Midlothian, Texas. With Gary White officiating.
The family wishes to thank his many musician friends and family members for all the love and support they gave these past years. Also, to his caregivers at Focused Care in Waxahachie and to the staff at Baylor Scott & White Waxahachie during his many visits there.
